This is a beautiful photograph – and that too is a work of art.
nice
did you take a close up shot of the old lady? her wrinkles look interesting.
could not take a close up…
personally – i think it’s better – I would never call one’s wrinkles sculptured by time and life experiences “interesting” like something one can see at a museum exhibition…
Very nice picture…. you have art of photography.
Beautiful photo and great caption to pair with it.
Lovely… š
Lovely! I love the quote that goes with it – I will have to remember that. Thanks for sharing and congrats on being f.p. š

Amazing…
What a truly magnificent photo! The love and wisdom that is etched into the older woman’s face is mirrored in the young girl’s expression. Pure happiness in it’s simplest and most powerful form.
The comment under your picture makes your photography even better!

I can’t remove this smile from my face! Contagious happyness ?

Which country? Beautiful picture š
Ladakh, india
Old age has a way of attempting to remove the spring in our steps. The reason, the springs brings pain, most of the time. Such is the case for me with two disks in my back that are fused together from a fall I took ten years ago. Each morning upon awakening, it is a painful experience going from a prezel to an upright human being. The answer to bringing joy each day into my life regardless of this pain has been bringing humor to my life. I find the more I attempt to bring laughter to others, the less I feel the pain.
A beautiful picture that says a lot, especially about family. Where were you, what country?

What a work of art! The luminous smile of the old lady, her wrinkles and the contrast with the little girl’s pink cheeks in the back ground gives incredible life to this shot. Simply magnificent.

Too true. And sadly you don’t find this out until you’re well and truly on the way to being old yourself.
Truth Indeed. People in the past tends to live longer than the new generation.Probably because of health lifestyle.
I love Lola’s smile (english ‘GrandMa’). I missed my Lola:-(
