Vittala Temple – Hampi Part – 4

Vittala temple is the architectural showpiece of Hampi. Build in the 15th century this temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple is situated 2kms east of Hampi Bazaar. The highlight of the Vittala temple is its pillared halls(musical pillars) and the stone chariot.  The stone chariot located inside the sprawling campus is an iconic structure of Hampi. There are many halls, pavilions and temples located inside the campus.

The temple can be reached by walk from Hampi Bazaar along the river bank or by the motorable road which goes around Hampi..
